Volunteer opportunities
It will be a real challenge for Lutheran Island Camp to have this dedication event which will go over a 3-day period. In order for us to be successful we will need at least 100 or more volunteers to help us before, during, and after the event. A list of volunteer activities that we need help with is provided below. In Preparation of the Dedication: Even now we have begun working on projects that need to get ready by Dedication Day.

The Week of the Dedication: During the week prior to the Dedication there will be a great deal of work needed to move things in and stage them appropriately.

The Day of the Dedication: We know that there will be a great deal of last minute activity to prepare for the Dedication Day activities which will begin by 10:00. Volunteers on the Day of the Dedication will be asked to wear a special t-shirt which we will provide.

The Day after the Dedication: On Sunday, August 30th, there will be a Mission Festival Service at the ranch. We will need to have some volunteers to help with that event. After the Mission Festival participants have left, we will begin the process of taking down equipment, tables, tents, awnings, etc.
